The website of RHYDAR'S
RIDER'S RAG has come of age, having now evolved to a design and
content spread that is intended to be the virtual equivalent of glossy,
hardcopy, magazine. We are now in a position to bring our product to the
greater market and offer businesses (not only those that cater to bikers
and the biking community) a professional platform to market and advertise
their products and services.
All website and design and management is
done in-house, thus ensuring a prompt response to your advertising needs.
Our target market is all segments of the
biking and biker community in Southern Africa, but more specifically we
target those bikers with access to email and internet facilities. Our
research indicates that the majority of readers access THE
RAG at their place of work and during office hours. This trend
suggests that readers will access the website of THE
RAG on 3 - 7 separate occasions to consume each edition of RHYDAR'S
RIDERS RAG. The website is designed to take the reader through
multiple layers of website pages wherever possible. The benefit to the
advertiser is multiple exposure from a single advert, unlike hardcopy
magazine adverts which tend to be exposed once only as the reader
progresses through hardcopy magazine pages in a linear, sequential
pattern.
Adverts are positioned in a manner that
requires the reader to scroll through adverts to access the body of the
page.
An added benefit of website based
advertising is the design tool that permits designated advertisements to
be published in the same dominant position and in precisely the same style
and format on each page and as each page is opened and browsed. This
feature is incorporated in the MENU BAR on
the left column of each page of our website and in the PAGE
FOOTER SLOGAN at the bottom of each page.
Finally, a hyperlink to a nominated
website or webpage can be embedded in every advert. The hyperlink displays
whenever the mouse pointer passes over the advert, providing the greatest
possible exposure to the advertiser.
A new CURRENT
EDITION of RHYDAR'S RIDER'S RAG is
published monthly. Circulation of each edition is by means of an email to
a growing database of approximately 10 000 bikers, bike clubs, biker
organisations/associations and bike/biker related business and services.
Each edition is circulated at least twice at approximately 14 day
intervals. A further circulation is done each time we update the FREE
SMALLS page, or make any significant change to the website.
Consequently, each edition of THE RAG is
circulated as many as four times in every one month cycle.
Each advert will be maintained on the
website for a period of at least 30 days.
RHYDAR'S RIDER'S RAG will
always consist of at least 30 individual website pages on which
advertising space may be purchased.
Five categories of advertisement type are
offered on the website of THE
RAG (and in the various pages of the CURRENT
EDITION of THE RAG that are published
in the website):
